Hotel Accommodations

The conference hotel is the Oakland Marriott City Center. You can make your reservations online by visiting our hotel website. The deadline for reservations at the Marriott is December 26, 2003. We are approaching our reservation quota. We would like to ask those of you who plan to make reservations at the Marriott to do so early. We can change this quota ahead of the deadline, if needed, while the hotel still has vacancies. The deadline for reservations at the other hotels is earlier, December 10, 2003. Participants who are interested in sharing a hotel room are encouraged to send mail to QM2004@lbl.gov with relevant information. We will try to match requests and inform both parties with the expectation that they will make their own coordinated reservation.

Directions

The conference site and hotel, as well as the other hotels can be easily reached from the San Francisco and Oakland International Airports by public transport (BART), by limo service, by taxi, or by car. For directions please go to our website and click on "Directions" (after December 10).
