Homestake Mine Tour
Important: safety training is required to attend underground mine tour!
According to the program, three safety training sessions will take place:
  • 5:00 PM Wednesday, September 30th 2009 (Session #1)
  • 7:30 AM Thursday, October 1st 2009 (Session #2)
  • 8:30 AM Thursday, October 1st 2009 (Session #3)
Make sure to attend safety training!
According to the program, six Homestake mine tour will take place:
  • Thursday, October 1st 2009 (Physics)
  • Friday, October 2nd 2009 (BGE)
Both days three tours will take place, starting at 6:15 AM, 8:15 AM, and 10:15 AM (dates and times are firm).
Due to limited cage capacity, attendants are limited to 18 per tour visiting the same area (54 people day, 108 people total).
Length of tour: 1.5 hours on the level (2 hours total, surface back to surface)
