2011 Advanced Light Source User Meeting |
Workshop on Novel Trends in Photoemission
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, October 4-5, 2011
Contacts: Alexei Fedorov (avfedorov@lbl.gov), Robert Kaindl (rakaindl@lbl.gov), Jonathan Denlinger (jddenlinger@lbl.gov)
Location: Building 2, Room 100B (1st floor)
The workshop "Novel trends in photoemission" will be held from October 4-5 as part of the 2011 ALS User Meeting. Photoelectron spectroscopy has become a very powerful experimental tool to study the electronic structure of a wide range of complex materials, most notably high-temperature superconductors and other correlated electron systems. Photoemission covers a large range of techniques, with beamlines at the ALS offering angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy (ARPES), ambient pressure photoelectron spectroscopy, and hard X-ray photelectron spectroscopy. |
Driving directions and information on airport shuttles can be found on the Transportation page. For those staying at the Berkeley Lab Guest House, please follow this link for more infos.
