Analysis Jamboree on ATLAS Software Tutorials
The Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory will host an Analysis Jamboree on November 2-3, 2009. The focus of this Jamboree is learning to use Athena and various tools for data analysis. The first day will be devoted to an Athena tutorial and exercises, and the second day will include sessions on doing analyses including luminosity and data quality information, pAthena, TAG, and getting your data with DQ2.

The Jamboree will use computing facilities at the US ATLAS Western Tier 2 Computing Center (SLAC). Participants should sign up for an account several weeks before coming to the Jamboree. The Western Tier 2 URL is http://wt2.slac.stanford.edu/. Click "Getting Started" on the left, and then "Obtain SLAC Computer Accounts".
Participants also need to obtain a Digital Grid Certificate and then join the ATLAS Virtual Organisation (VO) before coming to the Jamboree. For instructions see https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/Atlas/WorkBookStartingGrid.
