The applicable regulation for occupational radiation protection is 10 CFR 835. LBNL is requesting an exemption from 10 CFR 835 for the NTLF. Until an exemption is granted, 10 CFR 835 is the applicable standard.
When and if the exemption is granted, the applicable standard will be 10 CFR 20 plus selected portions of 10 CFR 835, as contained in this Standards Set.
This Set does not change any existing Federal, State or Local Government enforcement authority.
