Medical Surveillance Process for Animal Allergies
- MED0110 Animal Care Workers Medical Exam
- MED0113 Animal Allergy Health Screening for Researchers and Facilities
If you have been assigned one of these course codes it is because you have been identified through Work Planning And Control that you work with animals, or work in an animal care facility which may result in exposure to animal allergens which have the potential to trigger allergic responses or asthmatic symptoms. LBNL provides health screening in relation to animal allergens via a medical surveillance process. These course codes are used to manage and track worker participation in the Lab’s animal allergy medical surveillance program.
What to do:
- Go to clinic.lbl.gov
- Select “Message Center"
- In the "Questionnaires" section complete the Animal Care Surveillance Evaluation Acceptance, and the Animal Care questionnaire available to you
If you have questions about how to participate in the health screening, please review the medical surveillance information in your WPC Activity, discuss with your Activity Lead or Medical Surveillance Program Manager. If you feel that this enrollment is in error, please discuss with your Activity Lead or email
