Mishandled contaminated soil or groundwater can affect human health, cause environmental damage, and result in regulatory violations.

What you need to do before performing work:

Contact the Environmental Services Group to assess potential for soil or groundwater contamination. 
If required for the project, prepare a Soil Management Plan. See Work Process B, Preparing a Soil Management Plan.
