Class Schedule and Registration:
To view the class schedule and enroll in a class, go to the LBNL Employee Self Service web site and follow the instructions to view the available classes and enroll yourself. If you find you cannot attend a class that you are enrolled in, please use this same web site to drop your enrollment.

Introduction to HRIS 8.3
This is a full day course taught by LBNL personnel.

Course Deliverables:

1. Foundation in PeopleSoft Navigation
2. Data Entry Procedures in HRIS, creating and updating data
3. LBNL standard reports and public queries

HR Query Basics 8.3
This is a full day course taught by LBNL personnel.

Prerequisite:  Introduction to HRIS or equivalent expertise.

Course Deliverables:

1. Foundation in PeopleTools Query Navigation
2. Specifics regarding LBNL HRIS table and data structure
3. How to create new, edit existing, and save a Query

HRIS Recruitment 8.3
This is a full day course taught by LBNL personnel.

Prerequisite:  Introduction to HRIS or equivalent expertise.

Course Deliverables:

1. Overview of the LBNL Recruitment Process
2. How to Process Job Requisitions and Applicant Data
3. How to update applicant activity data including interview or offer data
4. Generate reports and letters
5. Hire an applicant

HRIS Employee Review Processing 8.3
This is a 2-hour course taught by LBNL personnel and is offered on request.

Prerequisite: Introduction to HRIS or equivalent expertise.

Course Deliverables:

1. Foundation in LBNL employee review panels
2. Overall process for creating and updating employee review data
3. Reports and Queries available in the system

HRIS Salary Administration 8.3
This is a 2-hour course taught by LBNL personnel and is offered on request.

Prerequisite: Introduction to HRIS or equivalent expertise.

Course Deliverables:

1. Overview of LBNL salary administration process
2. Overview of the salary administration panels and data
3. Reports and Queries available in the system

Guest/Contract Worker Processing HRIS 8.3
This is a 2-hour course taught by LBNL personnel.

Prerequisite: Introduction to HRIS or equivalent expertise.

Course Deliverables:

1. Overview of the LBNL process for guest and contract workers
2. Specifics regarding LBNL policy and procedures
3. Review of the Guest and Contract Worker Web Site
4. Hands on data creation and maintenance

Introduction to HRIS - Training Module 8.3
This is a 2-hour course taught by LBNL personnel and is offered on request.

Course Deliverables:

1. Overview of the LBNL Data Systems for all training data
2. Specifics regarding EH&S Training classes and "other"
3. Foundation in PeopleSoft Navigation 
4. Course, session and student data entry and maintenance
