November 2013 - Chun-Han passed his qualifying exam!
May 2013 - Klara published her exciting results in genome integrity, demonstrating that telomeres do not shorten significantly with age in primary HMEC strains, but that telomerase activity does decrease with age. Now if we could only do longitudinal studies of the same person....
10/11/2012 - Chunhan and Jonathan published their first paper in journal of visualized experimentation. It has a video showing the MEArray fabrication method.
9/14/2012 Joined the bay area PS-OC via a joint pilot project awarded to us and our collaborators in Zev gartner’s lab at UCSF
6/8/2012 Klara has left the building.
4/27/12 Lorena was accepted at the NIA summer research program at Bethesda.
4/26/12 After a long battle our first “big” paper on aging in mammary gland was accepted at Cancer research!. Coming soon to a website near you, the unabridged work entitled, “accumulation of multipotent progenitors with basal differentiation bias during aging of human mammary epithelia”
3/1/12 Martha was chosen as Life Technolgy’s Hero of of the month!
