Instructions for Speakers

Oral Presentations
Allocated time is 30 minutes for the presentation, including questions.

The Chairman will remind the speaker when there are 10 minutes left.

All presentations will be in English.

There will be digital projection equipment available; this will be accessible by a Dell PC with PowerPoint 2003. Please let the Organizing Committee know if you will need additional equipment.

Publication Requirements
Speakers need to sign a Publication Agreement if the Organizing Committee has approved to publish the presentation as a handout, or as a download on the Web site. This should be signed no later than the conference registration. (The Publication Agreement can be downloaded here.)

All speakers must email the following documents to the Conference Secretariat at sne@innovationcenterdenmark.com by the following deadlines, so we have time to test your files:

Due Monday, December 17, 2007:

A scan (e.g., PDF) of the signed Paper Abstract Agreement
An extended abstract of your paper formatted in our Template for the Extended Abstract. (Your abstract will be published in the final Conference Program.)

Due no later than Thursday, January 10, 2008:

A scan (e.g., PDF) of the signed Publication Agreement
The publishable version of your presentation

The Publication Agreement, Paper Abstract Agreement, and the Template for the Extended Abstract are available under “Download” in the Main Menu.

Poster Session
The Poster Session will take place Monday, January 14th, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., at LBNL Building 66, in the third-floor lobby between the Conference Room and Auditorium. Setup time begins at registration Monday morning, January 14th. Posters must be taken down by Tuesday, January 15th, at the end of the Conference. Poster size should be limited to 30 in × 40 in (76 cm × 102 cm). Foam mounting boards and easels will be provided.
