Q. How much does the visit cost?
A. The program is free.
Q. Does the Lab provide transportation?
A. No. Your group will need to arrange for its own transportation (i.e. carpool, bus, etc).
Q. My class has 36 students. Can we come?
A. No. For safety reasons, the maximum number is 32.
Q. Is there flexibility in the agenda?
A Yes. The sample agendas are provided as examples. Each visit is setup based on the group's needs, goals and time constraints.
Q. Are the Educational Visits only available on Monday and Fridays from 9:00 am to 11:00 am?
A. Visits are only available on Mondays and Fridays. The visit may be scheduled anytime between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Q. Is a cafeteria available?
A. Yes, but it very crowded at lunch. Students should bring a bag lunch if you plan to eat on-site during your visit.
Q. I need a letter of recommendation, can Workforce Development & Education staff write one for me?
A. It is Workforce Development & Education policy, that letters of recommendation are to be written by the mentor or associate mentor, not Workforce Development & Education staff.
