ACCESS TO BERKELEY LAB AND LCFS SYPOSIUM

The Berkeley Lab has a visitor/parking control/security gate. To enter the Lab and attend the symposium, you must have your name on the attendee list at the gate.  In order to be put on the list, you must pre-register for the symposium. There are no other special requirements for visitors.

LOCATION

Building 66 Auditorium (click and drag the map to the left until 66 is visible).

TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING

Parking is limited at the Berkeley Lab. In addition, on May 18 the University of California at Berkeley is conducting Commencement ceremonies throughout the campus, further limiting parking in the vicinity.

Carpool: Attendees from the local area are urged to carpool. Priority spaces will be reserved for you in Blackberry Canyon Parking Lot.

Shuttle bus: LBNL will operate a shuttle bus to and from the parking lot of the Doubletree Hotel in the Berkeley Marina (enter code: LBL), right off of I-80.

Public Transportation: Attendees may take BART to the Berkeley Main BART station. An LBNL bus regularly picks up and delivers passengers to and from the BART station.

Single Occupancy Vehicle: Given the nature of this conference, this option is discouraged for all but out of area attendees.

Go here for directions to the Lab.

PARKING

Parking permits will be issued to those who register.  The Lab has set aside the Blackberry Canyon Parking Lot for the Symposium.  Place your parking permit on your dashboard.  A shuttle bus will deliver you to the Conference Auditorium and back. DO NOT park anywhere else at the Lab.
