Do networking opportunities make you uncomfortable? In this two-hour workshop, you’ll learn simple strategies to lower your stress level and help you make important connections, including how to introduce yourself, make a good first impression, keep the conversation flowing, and gracefully make an exit. After an overview of networking strategies and techniques, you’ll attend a real-life mixer where you can practice what you’ve learned.
The instructor, Jill Wesley, has been a trainer and educator for over 18 years with experience ranging from executive coaching to presentations to groups of 1,000. Her seminars blend theory and life experience with her down-to-earth speaking style. She has led professional development programs in networking, workplace communication, management, presentation skills, and diversity in 45 states to over 60,000 mid- and executive-level managers and their employees. Jill taught Communication and Management courses at California State University, Long Beach. She spent six years overseas in Europe, Australia, Asia and South America and continues to do a significant amount of international work.
